As the first hackathon for young people in China, AdventureX is a truly global hackathon platform rooted in Chinese soil, continually spreading the influence of youth technological innovation.
The first AdventureX held in July 2024 attracted support from over 60 sponsors and partners, including ZhenFund, Linear Capital, Sijishen (SinoGene), and Li Auto, and received more than 1,200 applications. Ultimately, 200 applicants stood out, and over the course of five days in Hangzhou, they completed the creation and development of more than 50 products from scratch.

The theme keyword for AdventureX 2025 is "Prairie Fire," and the main visual design draws inspiration from the meteor fragments left by SpaceX rockets as they splash down, symbolizing the lingering light of exploration and ongoing innovation. The fast-moving light spots in the images reflect the perseverance, enthusiasm, and fearless exploratory spirit inherent in innovation. Although meteors are brief, they engrave their trajectories in the night sky, lighting the way forward. In a universe-like deep starry sky, countless light points race by; young people from different backgrounds, skills, and perspectives meet at AdventureX with their inspirations, technology, and dreams. Like meteors streaking across, they collide and burst with ideas in just a few days, co-creating countless product prototypes and igniting an explosion of creative energy among Chinese youth.
In terms of typeface, we referred to the Dune style font used in AdventureX 2024 and designed a new sci-fi minimalist geometric sans-serif font, Orbix, which combines modernity and the future, with more graceful curvature. The name comes from the Latin "orbis," meaning "ring, orbit, universe." Orbix will be launched on an open-source platform concurrently with AdventureX 2025, stay tuned.
Within more than six weeks since the start of AdventureX 2025 applications, we have received over 3,000 applications from six continents globally. The application channel is still open, and if you are a young person aspiring to contribute in a small way to the next decade, we look forward to seeing you at AdventureX 2025.
